02/15 Ryan’s “Upper Teens” Monday Night Forecast

I don’t get to say this that often (and don’t want to anyway), but tonight’s low will fall into the upper teens. There is a Hard Freeze Warning and a Wind Chill Advisory in effect until tomorrow morning. I’m expecting a low near 19 on the waterfront, meaning inland areas will be even cooler. The wind chill will be the worst part, falling to near 8 degrees on the coastline.

Thankfully, we only have one such brutal night ahead before a short-lived warm up.

This will take us into the mid 50s during the day and upper 40s at night by Wednesday, but we’ll be back into the 20s by the next night. We’ll remain another two nights below freezing, then quickly begin working our way back up. True to “South MS weather roller-coaster” form, we’ll be nearly to 60 by next Monday as our next front moves in.
