02/10 – Brantly’s “Muggy” Monday Afternoon Forecast
It is feeling muggy across South Mississippi today as the region remains socked in with moisture and warmer than normal temperatures. Foggy conditions persist along the coast, and areas that are not seeing fog are still dealing with cloudy skies.
High temperatures will be above normal in the lower to mid 70s with overnigh lows only dropping to the lower 60s. Similar conditions are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rain chances begin to increase late Wednesday as there is a risk for severe weather Wednesday afternoon and night ahead of a cold front. The Storm Prediction Center has outlined most of the northern Gulf Coast with a “Slight Risk” (threat level 2 out of 5) for severe weather.
