01/03 Ryan’s “Gloom Ending” Thursday Evening Forecast

Tonight will bring more rain, humidity, and patchy fog, but the gloomy weather is finally ending. The front we’ve been eyeing for the past few days is finally moving in but things will seem to get worse before they get drastically better. The heaviest rain will arrive to from the West by 8:30 PM as the cold front nears.

Despite the breezy conditions and heavy showers, no severe weather is expected.

The front will push through South MS over the next few hours, moving out by 4 AM Friday morning, and paving the way for considerably drier air to move in. So Friday will begin cloudy, but we’ll see mostly sunny skies by the end of the day. The improvements don’t stop there!

Expect continued clearing through the night and into the weekend which will be sunny, drier, and mild with highs in the low-to-mid 60s.

Temperatures do climb back into the uppers 60s and low 70s by Monday afternoon but another, weaker front is poised to bring another cooling/drying blast which will keep the pleasant conditions around for the remainder of the week.
