Zaxby’s Restaurant opens its Doors in Gulfport

As of 10:30 Monday morning, Zaxby’s is finally back on the Coast.
Dozens waited in line for hours to get their hands on the restaurants trademark chicken strips. When doors finally did open, fans of the restaurant poured in to delicious smells and hot eats. Zaxby’s is known for their chicken strips, but they have a full menu of salads and ‘zappetizers,’ as they like to call them, that will keep you coming back for more.
The first 100 customers in line received a “Deck of 52 Free Dealz” which features a free Zaxby’s item every week for a year.
Gabrielle Taylor and Allie Schultz were the first in line when they showed up Sunday night at 8:30, but they don’t plan on keeping their free meals to themselves. “Once a week, we’re going to take the coupons that we get here and feed. Sometimes we don’t even have enough money for ourselves so we’re going to go out and hand it out to them,” said Taylor.
Zaxby’s Licensee Hudson Sandefur said, “We identified the Gulfport Area, Harrison County, as a great place to bring Zaxby’s. It just took us a while to find the right location and put the deal together. After a lot of work and a lot of effort, we’re here today finally bringing Zaxby’s back to Gulfport.”
Zaxby’s is open 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday. They’re open until 11 on Friday and Saturday and closed on Sunday.
