Work to repair Long Beach Harbor begins

Long Beach city leaders say work to repair the harbor is finally starting.

The harbor was severely damaged during Hurricane Zeta three years ago. The city was just awarded a combined $6.6 million from the state to make repairs.

Part of those renovations include adding a concrete wall around the harbor.

City leaders are still hoping FEMA will help fund the pier restoration.
