Witnesses help family in car crash near Three Rivers Road
All across the Coast the wet weather made for some dangerous driving conditions.
One of many car wrecks that occurred today happened on Three Rivers Road and Hidden Oaks Drive.
News 25 spoke to eyewitnesses at the scene who sprang into action to help. They say there was only one vehicle involved and that the driver said her car hydroplaned.
Eyewitnesses say that there were two children and a mother in the car at the time of the wreck.
One of the children, who witnesses say appeared to be under two, was transported to the hospital in the ambulance. Eyewitness Terrance Moore said, “Nobody was out here helping. They were just passing through and we got a truck full of six or five people, it’s going to be a new year, Christmas just passed, Why not help?”
The eyewitnesses at the scene said the child’s injuries did not appear to be too severe.
