William Carey Tradition Campus prepares for first day of class

The faculty and staff members of William Carey Tradition Campus are ready for students to begin classes at the end of August amidst the effects of COVID-19.

With classes beginning in two weeks, the university is continuing to prepare to ensure the safety of their students. Along with masks and social distancing, the students and staff members are required to answer a daily screening survey that is sent via email to clear them to come to campus.

Students also have several options to attend class such as being completely online or through a virtual hybrid system.  WCU Tradition Campus Dean Dr. Cassandra Conner said, “Masks are going to be required for everyone, even when they are teaching, masks will be required. Social distancing in the classroom is required. We’ve already arranged all of our classrooms. We’ve already decided how many students can be in a classroom safely.”

Classes for the university will begin on August 24th with late enrollment open until August 28th.
