William Carey School of Pharmacy Awarded Candidate Accreditation Status
William Carey University’s pharmacy school has earned its next accreditation status from the Accreditation Council For Pharmacy Education—also known as ACPE—earning “candidate” status,
This is the second step in a three-step process that is finalized after the inaugural class of graduates.
The William Carey School of Pharmacy admitted its first class in July 2018.
Schools of pharmacy are granted “accredited” status after meeting all ACPE standards and after the inaugural class graduates.
Schools of pharmacy who pass this milestone while meeting all ACPE standards are granted “accredited” status by the ACPE board of directors.
William Carey’s first class of pharmacy students are set to graduate with a doctor of pharmacy degree in May of 2021.
