Wiggins Fire Chief thanks everyone who helped the area during severe weather
WIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV)- Wiggins Fire Chief Steven Purvis is giving his thanks to the agencies who came from near and far to assist during the flooding and severe weather.
He thanks his own department for their dedication to the community, also thanking the community for stepping up and standing out.
Meals, supplies, prayers, and encouragement were given to all who need it.
Chief Purvis finishes by saying this is only the beginning of hurricane season and severe weather should always be taken seriously.
