What’s Happening at Harbor Lights Show
The city of Gulfport is switching things up this weekend at the Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival. For the first time there will be a live band at Jones Park playing Christmas tunes for all to hear. The band Blind Fire performs at 7 on tonight and kids from the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center will be performing Saturday night. There will also be a Christmas Village Shopping Center from Ron Meyers productions. City officials tell News 25 these entertainment additions reflect the growth and success the harbor lights show has seen this year.
“It’s unbelievable right now we’re in Santa’s Village and they’ve done an incredible job… We’ve had so many guests coming, we had already over 6000 our opening weekend and it’s just growing, it’s a great place to bring family and friends it’s safe it’s a really cool place to be.” – Chris Vignes city of Gulfport
