Weekend Crash Claims One Life

A teenager is dead after a two car collision occurred near Saucier on Saturday around 6:15 p.m.
Eighteen year old Branden Harvey was ejected from his vehicle as his car rolled several times after colliding with another vehicle near Ramsey Road. Harvey was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people involved in the crash were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said no one in the crash was wearing a seatbelt.
Terry Stebly taught Harvey in 10th grade and says he passed her classroom every day. “He would always say ‘Mrs. Stebly, do you miss me yet?’ and I would go ‘no, not yet, Branden,” and that’s sad now because yeah, I feel like, yeah, I am going to miss him,” said Stebly.
Just two months ago, Harvey graduated from D’iberville High School. This year alone, three D’iberville High School students have passed away after fatal car accidents.
