Waveland ‘Food Truck Friday’

The City of Waveland wants to help you out with your Friday night dinner plans.

Tomorrow night from 5 to 8 p.m. Coleman Avenue will be lined with food trucks for their monthly ‘Food Truck Friday.’

Trucks from as far away as New Orleans will make the trip to make sure that you’re eating good.

Waveland Board One Alderman Jeremy Burke says that the city enjoys putting on an event that’s fun for the whole family. “We invite everyone to come out. It’s a great family atmosphere. We close a small part of the road, plenty of parking. You know, kids can run around. You can bring a chair out to enjoy it, just mingle with friends and family. It’s really one of those community events.”

If you can’t make it out to Coleman Avenue tomorrow night then no worries, ‘Food Truck Friday’ will return on the second Friday of every month.
