Volunteers Needed to Lay Wreaths at Biloxi National Cemetery

The military is an integral part of our Coast community. One non-profit is asking for help to honor them this weekend.
On Saturday, Crusaders for Veterans is holding its annual wreath laying ceremony at the Biloxi National Cemetery. The event promotes interaction for those who have served, are currently serving or who have made the ultimate sacrifice through their service.
Last year, the group laid more than 4,500 wreaths on graves throughout the cemetery. This year, they hope to double that number. Kevin Cuttill with Crusaders for Veterans said, “We need help, volunteers coming out and laying the wreaths. We have 9,000 to put out and we want to get as much as the community involved to interact with our military and our veterans. It’s a way of connecting the community, the active duty military members, the veterans, all of us together to recognize and honor the fallen.”
The ceremony starts at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Volunteers should arrive at 10.
