Virtual college fairs helping students explore college during COVID-19

The Mississippi Association of College Registrars and Admissions Offices and ‘Get2College’ are now hosting virtual college fairs.

‘Get2College’ is a free college planning center for students in Mississippi and they are partnered with the Mississippi Association of College Registrars and Admissions Offices to help students explore college amidst COVID.

These virtual events will be statewide and will feature in state and out of state college representatives for students to connect with.

To accommodate schedules, there are multiple dates and times that students can sign up for. Get2College Assistant Director of Outreach Mollie McCarroll said, “So especially during COVID, this is just so important for our students right now, our juniors and our seniors and sometimes even those ninth and tenth graders. We know this is a new reality for a lot of people and when these colleges aren’t getting access to the students within the schools just because of these different COVID regulations, this gives them an opportunity to still access these colleges virtually.”

The first virtual fair will be held tomorrow. To sign up or for more information visit https://macrao.swoogo.com/MACRAOVirtual.
