Vigil held for missing Pass Christian man Joey Moran

The daughter, father, and sister of Joey Moran held a vigil yesterday at Neco’s Marketplace in Pass Christian, almost a year after Moran went missing.

On July 14th, 2019, the 47-year-old Pass Christian resident Moran went missing. He was reported missing on July 16th by his wife, the same day his Chevrolet Malibu was found abandoned on the westbound shoulder of Interstate 10 in Harrison County.

Now family, friends, and community members gathered to raise awareness for the missing man. Lacy Moran said, “It’s hard. If it wasn’t for my family and friends and even my dad’s friends who have watched me grow up. If it wasn’t for prayers and kind words and thoughts, I don’t know where we would all be. It’s kept us going and it keeps hope in our hearts that he will be back.”

If you have any information about Moran’s whereabouts, the family asks that you please reach out to them either individually or through the ‘Find Joey Moran’ Facebook page.
