Valentine’s Day gifts

Are you prepared to wake up and smell the roses?
With Valentine’s Day tomorrow, the freshest flowers will be gone from store shelves in a heartbeat. No matter how you and your special someone plan to celebrate on February 14th, florals are always a thoughtful gift.
If in the middle of all the Mardi Gras celebrations, you forget to get your loved one something special, there is no need to worry because Deen’s 15th Street Florist in Gulfport is open 24 hours and will be filling last minute orders to make sure everyone has a beautiful Valentine’s Day. Kim Cospelich with Deen’s 15th Street Florist said, “Just give us a call and tell us about what your price range is and we can make it up and get it delivered for you or if they want to pick them up. We have got lilies, mixed flowers, pink roses, balloons, teddy bears, chocolates. Just give me a call and see what you like and I will fix it up for you.”
Tomorrow’s holiday honors the Bishop Valentine who went against his emperor’s wishes to perform secret weddings. For this, Valentine was executed. While in jail, he wrote a note to the jailor’s daughter signing it ‘from your Valentine.’
