USM Gulf Park Homecoming Parade

Golf carts covered in black and gold Eagle spirit paraded around the University of Southern Mississippi’s Gulf Park campus today.
The homecoming parade and reception is an opportunity for student organizations to get involved and share their spirit, unity and celebration all in preparation for the game Saturday night.
Nursing major Keylee Morgan is this year’s homecoming maid. She tells News 25 she’s excited to represent the Gulf Park campus at the game in Hattiesburg Saturday. “I work for the division of student affairs at the USM Gulf Park campus and I saw how everything is just so brought together and how much hard work goes into each event so that really pushed me to start getting involved more on campus and it made me want to run for homecoming. I’m super excited to represent USM Gulf Park campus this Saturday.”
For students that can’t make it up to Hattiesburg, but still want to take part in the excitement, the Gulf Park campus is hosting a tailgate event with a screening of the game and activities from 3 to 10 p.m.
The game is on WXXV FOX at 6 p.m.
