Unsettled pattern brings more rain and flooding issues

Tonight, scattered storms remain possible through the evening before activity gradually decreases overnight. Conditions will stay warm and humid with lows in the mid-70s.
Rain chances continue on Wednesday with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected mainly during the late morning and afternoon hours. Some sunshine will mix in between storms, allowing highs to climb into the mid 80s.
The most widespread rainfall is expected on Thursday as showers and thunderstorms become likely throughout the day. Higher rain chances continue Thursday night into Friday with additional rounds of scattered storms possible. New rainfall amounts could top 1-3″ during this time.
Heading into the weekend, the pattern stays unsettled with daily opportunities for showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. While it may not rain all day, outdoor plans should remain flexible with a backup option in the event of storms.
Temperatures through the extended forecast will remain seasonably warm, with afternoon highs generally in the mid to upper 80s and overnight lows in the low to mid 70s.
