U.S. Supreme Court will not consider appeal for SRHS pension plan

The United States Supreme Court will not consider an appeal filed by attorneys for pension members who object to the Singing River pension plan settlement. The court denied the petition today.
At a recent federal court hearing it was established that the pension is currently being depleted at the rate of approximately one million dollars per month and this will continue until funding from the settlement is allowed to go forward.
Final approval can only take place once all appeals have been resolved.
