Two Facing Bribery Charges In Epps Case
Set to appear in court today one of two people indicted on bribery charges in the kick back corruption case involving former MDOC commissioner Christopher Epps. 53 year old Mark Longoria, the CEO of a drug testing corporation, is set to appear in federal court today after being charged with conspiracy to pay bribes. With the intention of ultimately bribing Epps when he was commissioner. Teresa Malone of Carthage, Mississippi, has been indicted for paying kickbacks to then corrections commissioner Epps in exchange for a consulting contract. She’s the wife of former democratic lawmaker Bennett Malone. Both face years in prison and hefty monetary fines.
