Two die, two injured in crash Tuesday on Highway 603

Two Hancock County residents died and two more were injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-car collision on Highway 603.

Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a wreck about 2:20 p.m., where a 1995 Ford F-150 collided with a 2021 Dodge Ram.

MHP spokesman Cal Robertson said the F-150, driven by Eddison Watson, 52, of Bay St. Louis, was northbound on Highway 60 when it collided with the southbound Ram driven by Patrick Kayda, 68, also of Bay St. Louis.

Watson and his passenger, Dawn Marie Moore, 48, of the Kiln, died from injuries suffered in the crash. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Kayda and his passenger, Elizabeth Ann Paul, 66, of Bay St. Louis, suffered severe injuries in the crash.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
