Trey Supak named Southern League Pitcher of the Week
The king of the almost no-hitter is receiving praise for yet another dazzling pitching performance for the Biloxi Shuckers.
Today, Trey Supak was named Southern League Pitcher of the Week for taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning of a seven-inning game against the Chattanooga Lookouts on Tuesday.
Overall, the 11th ranked prospect of the Milwaukee Brewers was one out away from throwing a no-no for the second time this season, striking out nine while giving up just one hit and one walk.
Supak’s other gem came on May 30th for which he also won pitcher of the week.
He currently leads the league in innings pitched, batting average against, WHIP, and wins while ranking third with a 2.15 ERA.
