Train Collides With Pepsi Truck

A train collides with a Pepsi truck on Main Street in Biloxi.
The truck was attempting to cross the tracks around 10 a.m., but got stuck.
The driver left the truck to call for help. A few minutes later the train collided with the Pepsi truck, dragging it an estimated 200 feet before coming to a stop.
Fortunately, the driver of the truck was outside and was not injured. There were no reported injuries of anyone on the train either.
Biloxi police officials tell News 25 the truck should have never crossed the tracks in the first place. Sgt. Brian Dykes with Biloxi Police Department said, “You’ve simply got to pay attention to the cautionary signs posted. There were signs posted and railroad crossing bugs posted at this particular intersection, warning of the high grade, and the truck should have never used that intersection.”
Intersections between Main Street to Oak Street are blocked.
Crews hope for the scene to be clear in about two hours.
