Traffic stops leads to shooting arrests in Harrison County

In Harrison County, a traffic stop led to the arrests of two shooting suspects.

Twenty-three year-old Amber Page and 26-year-old Andrew Ausmer are both charged with one count of aggravated assault.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson, last Tuesday, deputies responded to the scene of a shooting off of Saucier-Lizana Road north of Highway 53.

A woman reported that a man and woman in a dark SUV started following her on the highway and fired several shots at the car she was riding in.

No one was injured in this incident, but investigators were able to identify the shooters as Page and Ausmer.

Warrants were issued for their arrest and they were taken to the Harrison County Jail after being pulled over for running a stop sign.
