Out of town officers honor Officer McKeithen

During the morning procession, officers from out of town traveled to the Coast to pay their respects to Officer McKeithen.

Some traveled as far as Bellevue, Washington to South Mississippi in support of the brotherhood between those in blue.

Officer Tyler Cornmesser tells News 25 he’s honored to make the trip because it’s all about supporting the thin blue line, coming together as a family during tough times. “In Washington State, when we have funerals up there, we would get a lot of people from the Canadian Mountie Police and we get different agencies from Idaho. So, to be able to come down here to Mississippi, it is great.”

Cornmesser tells News 25 he’s heard nothing but great things from other officers about how fallen Officer McKeithen impacted their lives.
