Town Hall Meetings for Deepwater Horizon Oil Disaster Money

The state of Mississippi is set to receive $750 million over the next 15 years from the BP oil disaster. You can tell your lawmakers exactly how you want them to spend the Deepwater Horizon oil disaster money.
The first town hall meeting will be tonight at 6 p.m. in the Lyman Community Center off of Highway 49 in Gulfport.
The second meeting will be held on October 20th at the Diamondhead City Hall at 11 a.m.
The final meeting will be held on November 30th at the Fine Arts Auditorium of the Gulf Coast Community College’s Gautier campus at 2 p.m.
Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves would like to see the majority of the $750 million spent right here in South Mississippi.
