Town Hall against Crime

A town hall meeting to address how to fight crime turned emotional tonight as residents in the Orange Grove community spoke out about the violence plaguing their youth.
Tonight’s meeting was sponsored by Youth Build. They say their desire to reach out to residents was ignited by last month’s shooting death of 16-year-old Nygel Poole. Poole was allegedly killed after an altercation with 15-year-old Kobe Augustine, who is now facing first degree murder.
The group says this is the first of several town hall meetings to reach out to the community and bring the violence to an end.
