Total of COVID-19 cases reported statewide

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 209 new cases of COVID-19 in the state and six deaths.

The state total now stands at 2,496 including 82 deaths.

Hancock County has 37 cases and five deaths, Harrison County has 99 cases and four deaths, Stone County has five cases and no deaths, Jackson County has 135 cases and five deaths, Pearl River County has 77 cases and four deaths.

Meanwhile, George County now has seven cases and Hinds County still has the most cases in the state with 219.
