Tornado Damage in Magee, MS

In Simpson County, an EF2 tornado caused significant damage off of Highway 28. An EF2 tornado packs winds between 111 and 135 miles per hour.
Trees and power lines are down in that area. Several homes were damaged in Magee when the storm moved through this morning. Neighbors, family, and friends have been there to help the family dig through the rubble and salvage what they can.
Two people, a husband and a wife, were inside when the storm moved through the area. No injuries have been reported.
