Toast to the Coast in Pass Christian

The Yellow Brick Road was rolled out and folks in Pass Christian took a trip to Emerald City. It was all part of the 32nd annual Toast to the Coast to raise money for Coast Episcopal School.
The venue was decorated in a “Wizard of Oz” theme and guests could try over 30 of the Coast’s finest restaurants and bars, purchase raffle tickets and even register in a silent auction.
Director of Development at Coast Episcopal School Melissa Brown says tonight’s fundraiser is what keeps their school doors open. “This is our primary fundraiser for Coast Episcopal School in Long Beach. This is an exciting year for us, not only in academics and technology but we’re bridging into the community through two ways. We’re offering after school enrichment programs and we also offer art shows into the community through our art center.”
This year’s Toast to the Coast was the first where those who couldn’t make it to the Gala could auction online from their mobile phones with those at the event.
