Three Suspects Wanted for Armed Robbery

The Gulfport Police Deparment needs help locating suspects involved in an armed robbery and kidnapping at the Arlington Square Apartments on Pass Road.
Police arrived on scene around 9 this morning after a man says he was held up by three armed black men who entered his unlocked apartment.
Police say the suspects, who were all wearing hooded shirts, assaulted the victim, demanded money then bound and gagged him. The suspects then fled the residence after taking marijuana, money and a cell phone. Police say the victim was able to free himself and call family members.
News 25 spoke with a neighbor who says she was surprised to see the building next door surrounded by law enforcement when she was taking her trash out this morning. Neighbor Mitchel Drummond said, “It just surprised me. There were about seven to eight detectives out here. They were up there at the top of the building talking to some guy and that’s all. When I came out I just seen all them. I know the dude. He was alright. He went to the hospital, so he was alright, but stuff like that don’t usually happen, it’s not usually like, stuff don’t usually happen like that out here, not that bad.”
These suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the Gulfport Police Department at 228-868-5959 or call Crime Stoppers.
