Third suspect in drive-by shooting arrested

On 14 November 2017, nineteen year old Javaris Ramsey of Gulfport was arrested by the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant issued through the Biloxi Police Department for Drive-By Shooting. Ramsey was transported to the Biloxi Police Department for booking on 15 November 2017. The warrant and arrest stem from an investigation that began on 17 September 2017 at approximately 6:32 PM when witnesses called 911 to report a drive-by shooting that had just occurred in the 200 Block of Rodenberg Av. No one was injured during the shooting.
Witnesses at the scene identified at least three known suspects involved in the incident. Eighteen year old Durente Yarbor of Gulfport was arrested on 29 September 2017 and twenty year old Aseante Taylor of Gulfport was arrested on 08 November 2017 regarding the same incident.
Taylor, Yarbor, and Ramsey were transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Taylor and Yarbor were held in lieu of $300,000 bonds, and Ramsey was held in lieu of a $150,000 bond. All bonds were set by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
