The Pet Boutique helps fur parents during the holidays

As people shopped at ‘Christmas in the City’ in Downtown Biloxi, there was one vendor who wanted to make sure shoppers had everything they needed for their fur children this holiday season.

What started out as a side hustle for Hattiesburg resident Connie Shelton has now expanded into a full business carrying all things for pets.

Shelton started her boutique last year due to her love for animals and her two rescue dogs.

She is currently in the process of creating a website for her business, but in the meantime she likes to come to the Coast and participate as a vendor in festivals and market places. Pet Boutique Owner Connie Shelton said, “I never knew it would expand as much as it has. Everybody loves their pets and I always knew that, but I didn’t realize how much especially at Christmas. So, it’s been great. We can’t forget about the pets because they have feelings just like everybody else. They are like our kids. So, we got to get theirs too.”

If you want to check out what all the Pet Boutique has to offer, the boutique will be set up at the Biloxi Lighthouse community market on December 17th.
