Thanksgiving Weekend Traffic Deaths

Four people were killed on Mississippi roads in wrecks over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Captain Johnny Poulos with the Mississippi Highway Patrol said 73 people were also injured on state, federal highways and interstates during the holiday driving period, which ended last night. None of the four people who lost their lives was wearing a seat belt.
Troopers investigated 221 vehicle accidents and issued 6,198 citations with 121 DUI arrests.
