Thanksgiving dinner at Ms. Audrey’s in Gulfport

Ms. Audrey’s Southern Kitchen and Catering in Gulfport served up free Thanksgiving dinner plates.

From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. local residents picked up plates filled with love as Ms. Audrey calls them. The plates included a full Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and gravy, stuffing, green beans, a roll, and dessert.

Last year was the inaugural meal drive-thru where over 1,000 plates were given to those in need. Ms. Audrey said, “This is our second annual one that we did. We started doing it after the pandemic and we felt the need to do it again this year. We’ve decided to make it an annual event that we’ll have and as long as my doors are open. I’ll always continue to do and give back to those in need in the community.”

The nonprofit Extend a Hand, Help a Friend, Climb CDC, and Councilman Kenneth Casey sponsored this second-annual dinner.
