Terror on the Coast opens September 18th
While Halloween may be two months away, Terror on the Coast is already preparing to open its doors and return to haunting the Gulf Coast.
Friday, the eighth-ranked largest haunted house in the nation is holding costume fittings.
The haunted warehouse will kick off the scaring season on September 18th. Opening night will include street performers, live entertainment, a DJ, and line actors to entertain those waiting.
Although it’s been a spooky staple on the Coast for six years, due to COVID-19, even veteran haunted housegoers will find a few changes to their haunting experience this year. Terror on the Coast Administrator Donna Farris said, “The whole thing is for everybody to have fun. So the only thing that we’ve changed this year is to expand the queue line so we can do the social distancing and we’ve added– instead of just having the venue on the inside of the building which is 87,000 square feet, we’re including the outside of the venue, so now our square footage is like 98,000 square feet. So, there’s enough room for everybody to do their social distancing and be safe at the same time.”
Terror on the Coast is also still looking for actors. If you’re 16 or older and interested in joining the Terror on the Coast family, stop by the Warehouse on Giles Road in Gulfport Friday night between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to sign-up.
