Teens charged with armed carjacking in Gulfport

Two teens are in jail, charged with armed carjacking in Gulfport.

18-year-old Bruce Lowery was arrested and charged Wednesday. 15-year-old Antonio Harper was arrested and charged this morning. They were taken to Harrison County jail and bond was set at $75,000 each.

Gulfport Police said officers responded to 28th Street in response to an armed carjacking about 10 p.m. on April 6.

Detectives learned the victim got in his vehicle and as he went to close the door, he was approached by two black males, later identified as  Lowery and Harper. They pointed guns at the victim and demanded his vehicle and his cell phone. The suspects fled before officers arrived.
