Ted Egger named permanent coach at PRCC

The Pearl River Community College football program finally has some stability in the leadership department after more than four months of rolling with Ted Egger as the interim head coach.
Today, the Wildcats announced their intentions of recommending Egger for the fulltime job at the school’s next board meeting on November 14th.
The former defensive coordinator stepped in for David Saunders back in May and PRCC has returned to its winning ways ever since. With one game remaining in 2017, the Wildcats are 4-4 overall and 3-2 in MACJC south division play.
In the season opener, Pearl River won its first home game in three years and just last week Egger led his bunch to its first win over rival Mississippi Gulf Coast since 2006.
He wraps up his first season on Saturday at Co-Lin.
