Tap Book, Bar, and Bistreaux opens at Beau Rivage
We are nearing the one year anniversary of legalized sports betting in Mississippi. To celebrate that incredible milestone, the Beau Rivage Casino and Resort is opening a brand new sportsbook.
Over 100 TVs, a VIP lounge area, 35 video gaming machines, five sports betting windows, two bars, and a full dining menu, what don’t they have at the Tap Book, Bar, and Bistreaux? Sportsbook Manager Will Hall said, “Nothing, we’ve got it all.”
While the Beau saw success during sport gambling’s first legalized season, they’ve been eyeing an even bigger project like Tap for the past year, hoping to bring a new element to sports gambling. “We just were looking for that unique experience where we utilize the space, took full advantage of everything, and we definitely accomplished that.”
While Tap will be a sports-heavy venue, it will also feature video gaming. “You can play blackjack, keno, roulette, so it really just gives the player a wonderful option.”
And delicious food and beverage options for the non-sports customers. “It’s just not all about the sports. This room really takes advantage of the space.”
MGM Resorts currently has three Taps across the country, with the Beau’s being number four. Now, while it may be one of four, the Beau Rivage made sure to put their own flare into it. “It’s been successful, but we decided to take it over the top. Now, we added the sports betting to the Tap venue, which is brilliant. I think it’s absolutely the perfect marriage.”
The Tap Bar is open 24 hours a day. The book, Bistreaux, and bar are open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
