Today was a little washed out thanks to our high level, thin clouds and light drizzle, something that won't change much over the weekend....
Saw a good amount of sun today, but the clouds will begin to thicken into the weekend....
Clouds cleared enough for some decent sunshine, but we're still looking at a cloudy weekend before it clears again.
Sally is already just a depression and moving away, so expect dramatically improving conditions going forward.
Sally has moved on, but the weather still looks nasty. That'll change quickly though!
Sally continues to be full of surprises thanks to an early morning strengthening session, but has thankfully moved far enough east South MS's issues are quickly diminishing.
Sally has weakened a bit, but remains a category one hurricane bringing plenty of rain to the MS/AL/FL coastal areas.

Hurricane Sally is creeping closer, but there are still many variables facing the forecast before landfall 18 hours away.

Hot and sunny today, but still manageable thanks to slightly drier air. Though that changes soon.
Fall won't officially start for another 3 weeks, but meteorological speaking it starts today! Either way, won't feel much like fall until likely mid-December.
August ended on the wet and muggy side, but September is starting off beautifully. Statistically though, it likely won't remain that quiet as tropical activity peaks.
