Taco Sombrero celebrates 40 years of business

It is Fiesta time at the Gulf Coast’s favorite spot for speedy and delicious Mexican food, Taco Sombrero, as they celebrate 40 years in business today!

It was already a packed house this morning as people lined up to get their taco fix. Gulfport city leaders showed up for the occasion and read proclamations of congratulations from Mayor Hewes and even Governor Tate Reeves.

They spoke highly of the taco joint and said Taco Sombrero is and has been a staple here on the Gulf Coast for residents and visitors alike.

Owner Lynn Parkhill says he attributes the restaurants success to his great employees, great food, and great customers. “We’ve got a lot of fantastic customers that support us through the years and we’d really, really appreciate it if they come out and help us with the celebration. I’d just like to be remembered that we had some of the best Mexican food on the Gulf Coast, and that everybody loved to come here.”

The locally owned restaurant is marking the milestone with food and drink specials, door prizes, and giveaways for customers all day today at each of their three locations.
