T-shirt sales from local business providing meals for health care workers

As of now, around $10,000 has been raised to help feed our local health care heroes.

Elite Screen Printing in Gulfport has been selling t-shirts that ‘salute our health care and front line heroes.’  One hundred percent of the proceeds from these shirts will be used to purchase gift cards from local restaurants in an effort to give back to the local economy and say thanks to those who are fighting COVID-19.

Each shirt purchased provides two meals from local restaurants. Elite Screen Printing Owner Jeremy Carothers said, “They have been stressed with all of this, just like everybody has, but with their job specifically. They have been putting in more hours and more work than they have really ever on the job and the amount of stress that has to come with dealing directly with people who have COVID-19.”

If you would like to buy one of these shirts you can go online to coastheroes.com.
