Suspect in fatal Pascagoula shooting turns himself in

The primary suspect in a fatal shooting that happened last Friday at a home on Dupont Avenue in Pascagoula turned himself into the police today.

According to Captain Doug Adams, Rouvell Thigpen, also known as Rudy Thigpen, turned himself into the Pascagoula Police Department with his attorney, Keith Miller. He is now being held in custody on a $200,000 bond.

According to police, they responded to a call about shots being fired and found 31-year-old Lorenzo Biggs with one gunshot in the chest and another in his leg. He was taken to Singing River Hospital where he died shortly after midnight.

Pascagoula police Thigpen is the boyfriend of Bigg’s estranged wife.
