Summer recreation opportunities in Biloxi

The summer season officially kicks off tomorrow and the City of Biloxi is gearing up for a season full of fun.

The city has over 26 parks and programs for people of all ages, including seniors and those with special needs.

Upcoming summer events include the Challenger Basetball League later this month for kids and adults with special needs as well as two movie nights on July 12th and July 19th to celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month. Cecilia Dobbs Walton with the City of Biloxi said, “It helps for individuals to lead an active life. It helps for people to enjoy the community that they’re in, the green spaces, the playgrounds that they have.”
