Store Clerk Tied up and Robbed Over Night in Jackson County
A convenience store clerk is held at gunpoint and tied up during an overnight robbery in Jackson County.
Sheriff Mike Ezell tells News 25 the incident happened around 1 a.m. at the Shell gas station on Main Street in the St. Andrews community.
The clerk reported three black males entered the store and after tying her up, took the store safe, ATM and surveillance equipment.
Deputies believe this is the same group of individuals responsible for robbing the Shell station and attempting to rob Polk’s Drugs in Ocean Springs last week.
Deputies warn if you observe criminal activity of this type, do not approach the suspects, they should be considered armed and dangerous.
