Stone County Students Make Anti Bullying Short Film

Stone High School has been in the spotlight recently for reports of bullying, but one group of students is hoping to change that perspective.
Senior student Samantha Herrien approached local film director Andrew Kan in hopes of making a short film for her senior project. The two co-directed a 25 minute movie titled “The Pecking Order.” It’s about a girl who is bullied and the effects bullying can have on the minds of teenagers.
The crew started the project at Stone High in August and sometimes spent 12 hours a day working on it.
Andrew, Samantha, and the whole cast will debut their film on December 8th at the high school. Anyone is welcome. All you are asked to do is bring a monetary donation to support a local anti-bullying charity.
