Group of Stennis employees hold prayer rally for medical freedom in Hancock County

Stennis Space Center employees hosted a prayer rally against the federal vaccine mandate.

All Stennis employees have a COVID vaccination mandate deadline of November 22nd or face possible job loss or disciplinary action.

Over 100 supporters of vaccine choice came out holding signs, praying every 15 to 20 minutes, and rallying around those fighting to keep their job.

Stennis third party contract workers also joined the rally as their deadline to get vaccinated is December 8th.  Test Engineer Nyla Trumbach said, “In the end, we hope that this mandate is stopped. I fear that what comes after this, this has never been done. A booster may be required to be fully vaccinated. So, we hope that the mandate is stopped and that’s what we’re praying for.”

The group ‘Stennis Employees for Medical Freedom’ plan to host another prayer rally at the end of this week or early next week.
