State Treasurer announces reduction of Mississippi Affordable College Savings Plan fees
Mississippi families saving for college could soon see even lower costs.
State Treasurer David McRae announced fees for the Mississippi Affordable College Savings 529 Plan will drop by nearly 20 percent following an investment transition by his office.
McRae says the reduction means more of families’ money can stay invested for future education expenses.
Earlier this year, Forbes ranked Mississippi’s MACS plan among the top six 529 college savings plans in the nation.
