Stan Lee’s influence on local comic book store

It’s been three days since Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95.

The writer created some of the most well-known superheroes including Spider-Man and the Hulk.

News 25 spoke to Three Alarm Comics in St. Martin about the impact Lee had and continues to have on their business. They have seen customers come in asking about material by Stan Lee.

Stan Lee’s influence goes far beyond just comic books. Grant Comeaux with Three Alarm Comics said, “We are very sad of his passing, but he gave us so much in his life to all the nerds out there. He started Marvel Comics with a bunch of other artists and writers. There are figures based off action figures, toys. Any blankets, clothes you can find with anything in comic style nowadays you can probably trace it back to Stan Lee some way or another.”

Lee started writing comics in the 1940s and in the 1960s transformed Marvel into what it is today.
