Stabbing at the Scarlet Pearl Casino

A Gulfport man was arrested yesterday after police say an argument resulted in a stabbing at the Scarlet Pearl Casino in D’Iberville.
Fifty-nine year-old Eddie Parish turned himself into police last night and was charged with aggravated assault. Police say a verbal argument began inside the casino buffet between two males.
The argument became physical when, according to police, Parish pulled out a knife and stabbed the other man in the shoulder. Police say he then fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival and the victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Parish is at the Harrison County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
